Pendulum - In Silico
Groundbreaking crossover dance band Pendulum announce their eagerly anticipated second album In Silico. The album follows their 225,000 selling debut Hold Your Colour and is their first album release for Warner Bros. Records / Ear Storm.
A seamless fusion of pounding dance beats and aggressive rock, In Silico features the recent singles Propane Nightmares and Granite and represents a huge progression from Hold Your Colour. In Silico also marks producer / keyboardist Rob Swires first outing as a vocalist, with fellow producer / bassist Gareth McGrillen on backing vocals.
Pendulum have been working on songs for In Silico ever since Hold Your Colour was released, with the bulk of the material recorded at their own studio (the acoustic drums were the only exception, recorded at Londons Olympic Studios and premixed by Dave Bascombe, known for his work with Depeche Mode and The Verve). Influenced by an eclectic array of sounds including Led Zeppelin, Underoath and Atreyu, In Silico represents an exciting new era for Pendulum.
Other highlights of the album include the propulsive, mood setting opener Showdown, the relentless energy of Mutiny and the ambitious progression of set closer The Tempest.

There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
